As a HR Operations Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our People Experience function—driving impact across the full employee lifecycle, from pre-onboarding to post-exit.

This role is where the employee experience and systems meet. The HR Operations Analyst contributes to a positive employee experience by delivering efficient, employee-centered support, ensuring payroll accuracy and timeliness, and keeping HRIS information current and dependable.

What will you do?

HRIS & Data Management

  • Maintain employee profiles and documents in HRIS
  • Generate reports from HRIS
  • Execute employee documents, policy, and data audits
  • Assist with management of PX data and flow between PX systems/tools to ensure proper data mapping and data integrity
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly occupancy data

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Own the bi-weekly payroll process
  • Oversee pension, benefits, and disability administration
  • Manage supplier relationship with ADP

Employee Experience & Support

  • Act as point of contact for employee concerns via the People Inbox, responding daily to employee inquiries
  • Orchestrate the execution of onboarding and off-boarding processes
  • Communicate with employees regarding all types of leaves
  • Ensure a user-focused employee experience that enhances the employee value proposition

Projects & Strategic Initiatives

  • Support delivery of HR projects and activities
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improved services/programs through needs analysis or consultation
  • Explore and implement innovative solutions, including those utilizing AI

What will you need to succeed?

Experience & Expertise

  • Payroll administration experience is considered an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee services
  • Strong understanding of pension plans and payroll processes
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems and data management

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Solid data acumen with a keen eye for accuracy and detail
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
  • Familiarity with Workday and ADP (considered an asset)

Education

  • Post secondary education is required

Location

We're a hybrid team that thrives on the energy and value of in-office collaboration. The expectation is 2 days a week in Cambridge with travel to Toronto as needed for meetings and events.

The expected base salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $103,500.00. Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual's discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.

Please note: This range reflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels. During the recruitment process, we will discuss and consider how your unique qualifications align with the broader range for this position.
