District Sales Manager

As a District Sales Manager, you will play a key role in presenting our customers with a consultative, relationship-focused approach -- one that will make their food service businesses thrive. This position will reside in Bartlett, TN.

We invite you to lead a team of high-performing, results-driven outside sales representatives, where our customers' potential is personal. As a District Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for the following:

  • Leading People: Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders. Identify goals and objectives, provide regular and candid feedback through evaluations or coaching sessions.
  • Developing Business Plans: Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives. Understand areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance.
  • Engage with the Industry: Visit key existing and future customers. Learn how to lead following the Servant Leadership model/framework. Participate in food shows, regional customer events, customer segment shows, and customer trips to headquarters to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations.

Position Requirements:

  • Four or more years previous sales or business experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
