XR Camera Image Quality Engineer

As a Firmware Engineer, you will develop evaluation protocol and carry out regular testing on camera modules during the product development phase. This role involves developing camera solutions which will involve quality design, imaging algorithm evaluation and development across multiple, cross-functional teams to provide the best camera quality and experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  • Develop camera imaging signal processing methods for quality evaluation to improve coverage and make camera tuning process more efficient.
  • Work with the architecture, software, tuning, tool teams to develop solutions to achieve quality goals and commercialize real products.
  • Generate image quality reports based on the collected images, videos and provide feedback to the engineering teams.
  • Collect the debug data, raw images, log or video to help debug and improve the feature repeatedly.
  • Collaborate with photographers and engineers to fine tune cameras and solve issues before product launches.
