Google’s custom-designed equipment makes up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures in the world. The Global Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this physical infrastructure. As a Test Development Engineer, you evaluate the product designs, develop and maintain the various test scripts or tools to support every Google cloud infrastructure product in manufacturing. Help Google to deliver the highest quality product with the most advanced and intelligent manufacturing test solution across the global manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve critical test software issues to unblock production and minimize manufacturing downtime. Enhance and maintain test scripts and software to support new test features, software/firmware upgrades, and test optimization.
• Partner with Contract Manufacturers (CM) and Joint Design Manufacturers (JDM) to validate and deploy new test scripts.
• Perform root cause analysis on system test failures to implement effective corrective and preventive actions, ensuring higher product quality and reliability.
• Develop tools and systems to streamline team workflows and increase productivity. Collaborate with the NPI (New Product Introduction) team to ensure a smooth and comprehensive handover of all test scripts.
• Assist Google cyber security team on the deployment of security requirement into test environment.
