In this role, you will be at the heart of product innovation, engineering the high-scale, low-latency C++ platform that delivers real-time user insights to shape flagship products like Search and Gemini. You will solve complex technical problems, own impactful projects from concept to launch, and collaborate across Google to ensure the user is loud and clear. You will drive the future of data-driven decisions by building the engine that powers contextual feedback at Google scale.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design, independently implement, and own the software solutions that will speed up Search experimentation.
• Work on a variety of projects, from C++ pipelines that process all Search queries on the fly to investigative systems implemented in partnership with Data Scientists.
• Influence how Search engineers gather information and make decisions.
• Improve latency and reliability on backends that affect Search Engineers experience.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and roles to ensure seamless project delivery, communicating progress, managing expectations, and gathering feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
