As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. Trust and Safety (T&S) is dedicated to promoting trust in Google and ensuring user safety, and we work to proactively identify and mitigate potential harms across all Google products and services. Our team takes a strategic and scalable approach to helping Google stay ahead of attackers, and strives to deliver trusted and safe experiences to all users. We are a global team of experts, including technical analysts, data scientists, policy specialists, and data engineers, who collaborate with cross-functional partners across the company to defend our platforms. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
