Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.
In this role, you will be working with a team of analysts that assess and address threats against Google Ads accounts in the hijacking space. You are keen to identify and solve problems at scale and have excellent analytical, technical and security skills. You are proactive, motivated, organized, responsible, innovative and are able to work well in a changing, global, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment and demonstrate excellent technical know-how, effective communication to get things done. You will also work very closely with engineering and product teams to make sure that you can quickly adapt our products and defenses against new threat vectors, to ensure a safe experience for users and advertisers. You will build, leverage and evaluate models and operations to solve cyber security and abuse problems. This role may review graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive content during the course of the role as well as infrequent on-call schedules outside of working hours, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities include providing detailed and actionable qualitative and quantitative understanding of the Ads account takeover threat landscape, designing and building early warning alerts for novel and changing threats, applying security intelligence to respond to new adversarial campaigns, and working with Ads Safety to get tooling improvements when needed.
