In this role, you will handle the core accounting and compliance responsibilities at Google while working closely with the business and finance partners to continue enabling the exceptional growth of Google Cloud. You know your accounting principles and the full financial process end to end. You will advise on financial and accounting matters and will review, analyze, and interpret data for accounting and reporting. You are continuously looking for ways to help the team get better at what we do, in the most efficient way possible. You will collaborate with the global team, advocate best practices. You move fast while keeping your attention to detail, and you tap into your problem-solving skills to support Google's business objectives.
Responsibilities include managing and developing a high-performing team to ensure accurate and timely business reporting, identifying and leveraging technology to automate and innovate business accounting operations and reporting processes, identifying and mitigating risks through your knowledge of Google Cloud products and Order-to-Cash systems and cross-functional engagement, actively participating in timely completion and statutory audits of Google Cloud entities, and partnering closely with business and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to measure and monitor business performance.
