The HR Specialist manages recruitment and onboarding for hourly plant roles while serving as a key HR partner to plant leadership, supporting all HR processes—from employee relations and talent development to labour law compliance—across departments such as safety, finance, production flow, engineering, GPS, and MFG IT.
Conducting the process of recruiting hourly and supporting the recruitment of salaried associates, including the completion of medical examinations by the selected candidate
Define the employment conditions for the employment contract with regards to CBA tariffs and RR, in alignment with remuneration policy
Cooperation with HR Service team regarding documents for employees related to employment and other personnel changes, e.g. transfer between organizational units, positions, wage/salary changes, termination of employment contracts
Provide HR guidance for supporting departments in the following areas: training needs and development activities, change management and employee engagement, current employee matters
Support Employer branding activities of the plant: participate in job fairs in secondary schools and universities cooperate with websites, recruitment agencies and local labour offices in advertising campaigns and job ads posting
Support administration activities for HR MFG team related mainly to creation of purchange orders, placing job ads, tracking statistics on candidates inflow of applications
HR experience in a multinational environment (2+ years), or in industrial/plant operations (1+ year), or participation in HR-related project management within a manufacturing setting with plant-specific knowledge (1+ year)
Strong orientation on skills growing as well as knowledge sharing attitude
Flexibility - openness to innovation, learning agility and motivation
Communication and interviewing skills
Labour law knowledge, preferably with industry area applications
English - communication level
HR systems and good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
