Role overview: We are seeking a HR Partner based in Birmingham, UK for a regional role covering our UK & Ireland Truck Force and Retail business EMEA. In partnership with business leaders, the HR Partner develops and executes Goodyear's HR Strategy within Truck Force and Retail UK & Ireland, implementing relevant initiatives and processes around Leadership, Organization Design, Talent Development, Inclusive Culture, Associate Engagement and Change Leadership to enable the organization to deliver its business strategy and objectives. The role acts as a strategic partner, associate champion and change leader, ensuring alignment between business objectives and a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of the employee's life cycle from onboarding and contract management to exit processes for Truck Force and Retail Business Function.
  • Cooperation with line managers in the field of associates development & engagement.
  • Contribution to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Drive succession planning and leadership pipeline development to secure long-term capability for business-critical roles.
  • Review key business performance targets with business leaders.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends, provide insight and support with interpretation, and guide actions to improve outcomes.
  • Design and deliver targeted leadership development activities for managers, focusing on people management, coaching, and strategic thinking.
  • Manage employee and labor relations matters, if necessary, with support of Labor Relations, Legal or respective country governor HR.
  • Oversee HR policy governance and ensure compliance with global standards and local legislation.
  • Collaborate with COEs and the SSC to deliver integrated solutions to the business needs and associate lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional and global HR team in people processes, policies and regional HR projects.
  • The Senior HRBP acts as a strategic partner, associate champion and change agent.
  • Support the implementation of talent management & employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support Reward and Recognition initiatives.

Requirements:

  • University Degree preferably in Management, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field or CIPD Level 5.
  • 7+ years of HR Generalist/HR Business Partner experience in Human Resources and Talent Management in an international and multidimensional organization.
  • Demonstrated measurable improvements in staffing, talent management and compensation.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
  • Significant experiences of developing and deploying people interventions and improvements.
  • Proven experience in managing and coaching teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from across the business.
  • Business maturity, ability to handle tight deadlines and ability to multitask differing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Analytical as well as strategic mindset.
  • Exposure to change management.
  • Excellent labor law knowledge for UK & Ireland will be considered an asset.
  • Fluent in English and any other language could be an asset.
