✨ About The Role
- The Staff Software Engineer will provide technical leadership to a distributed engineering team to design and enhance GlossGenius product offerings
- Responsible for advising the GlossGenius leadership team on key technology and product roadmap considerations
- Owns problems from end to end, managing complexity, and engaging directly with stakeholders to ensure reliability, operability, and security
- Works with Product Managers to prioritize roadmap initiatives and be involved in the product ideation process
- Architect tools, services, and systems using well-accepted design patterns to allow for iterative, autonomous development and future scaling
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with over 7 years of experience and at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
- Comfortable working full-stack with a lean towards either backend or frontend development
- Strong product instincts and the ability to make decisions rooted in business context
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate across teams and ship critical products
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and continuously learns and grows to improve themselves and their team
