The Core Processor - Soft Dev Testing Engineer will be responsible for the following activities:
Essential Functions: Understand the requirements of the different business units in EVO, related to the acquiring processes to define End to End test scripts. Generate the End to End documentation, including operational and technical diagrams/flows for each business requirement. Translation of a business requirement into test matrix including happy, unhappy path (negative scenarios) and regression test. Support and coach final users during the "User Acceptance Test phase" to increase the quality of their validations. Coordinate Brand Certifications for new tools or products such as: VISA, MasterCard, Amex, JCB and Discover. Generate defect matrix to report all the errors or gaps found during the End to End validations. Follow up the fixes and perform validations to assure the quality of them.
Required Experience: At least one year of experience in Unit testing, Quality Assurance testing, User Acceptance Testing and Certification. Basic knowledge of software development is ideal but not mandatory. Experience in developing/handling transactional processing solutions, for example: Authorization process & Clearing House routing, Clearing & Settlement processes, Platform connection (VPN, MPLS, etc). Certification process, Merchant products such as: Card Present, Card not Present, Wallets, etc. Capacity to define and implement Testing initiatives such as: Testing Plans, Test scripts, Business scenarios, etc. Experience working with Tech teams (developers) and business users.
