Key Responsibilities

• Selenium automation testing roles and responsibilities: - Strong knowledge and understanding of the Application Under Test in terms of Object Identification - Strong knowledge of core java with appropriate coding logic. Knowledge of JMeter performance testing will be added advantage. Experience with Database queries. Primary Knowledge of Batch commands. Creating Test scenarios and Collecting Test Data. Knowledge of Jira, Smartsheet & MS Excel. Preliminary knowledge of 'Continuous integration' tool (e.g. Jenkins) Identifying end-to-end scenarios and code modularity. Implementing TestNG Test Automation framework and developing automation framework. Develop reusable components/ functionalities - selenium tester roles and responsibilities Creating and enhancing Test Cases / Test Scripts using Element locators, Java programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations. Error Handling, Adding comments with proper Asserts. Creating Data-driven Tests and Running through the framework. Cross Browser Testing, Parallel Test Execution. Defining and exporting Test Results. Analysing Test Results and Reporting Defects to the Developers. Tracking Defects / Bugs and Select Test cases for Regression Testing. Modifying Test Automation Resources and Maintenance of Resources.

Competencies and Skills

• Bsc/Msc (Computer Science), BE(Computer). Minimum 3+ years exp in Automation Testing.
