Work as part of the internal audit team to manage both internal and external audits, in order to verify the quality management system's compliance to ISO9001 and IATF16949 standard, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams within Fab8 and with all other GlobalFoundries Fabs. Assist in the development of audit plans and schedules. Perform internal audits to verify the quality management system's compliance to ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards. Write audit reports and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions. Compile and review audit output data to identify improvement opportunities. Coordinate and executing external, including customer, audits. Support global quality initiatives on business process and system improvements. Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Utilizing Black Belt Lean Six Sigma methodology for Problem Solving and Continual Improvement within Fab 8.
Master's degree in Quality and Engineering Management, Quality and Productivity Systems, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 3 years post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering/quality assurance related job titles.
Applicants must possess at least 3 years of experience in the following: (1) Quality Management System standards with the framework that defines and documents an organization's process procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality objectives, including internal audit; (2) Quality Core Tools including FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, PPAP & APQP; (3) Lean Manufacturing including process performance improvement by removing waste through usage of tools including VSM, Kaizen, 5S's, Gemba, PokaYoke, Jidoka, JIT, and Andon; (4) Six Sigma process performance improvement and problem solving structure by reducing variation through usage of DMAIC methodology and quality and statistical tools. ISO9001 certification required.
