The HR Business Partner (HRBP) – South Asia plays a strategic role in partnering with business leaders across the Company. In this role, you will align HR initiatives with business objectives, drive organizational effectiveness, enhance employee engagement, and advise on workforce planning and development. You will collaborate with senior leadership to shape people strategies and lead cross-functional HR projects.
Reporting to the VP – Regional HRBP & Office Management APAC, you will work closely with the APAC HR team, particularly the HRBP for North Asia, to ensure consistent, high-quality HR delivery aligned with regional strategies. Partnering with Group HR functions—including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and Projects—you will localize and implement global initiatives.
As the HRBP, you will guide, mentor, and challenge business leaders while serving as a consultant on people initiatives. You will contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives that advance the company's vision and mission. Additionally, you will act as the Country HR Leader for South Asia, fostering company culture across business segments and ensuring HR policies and projects are consistently applied.
Collaborate with the APAC HR team and Centers of Excellence on a wide range of HR topics and projects, serving as the key HR contact for South Asia.
Lead and contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives that support the enterprise's strategic objectives.
Drive the delivery of the people strategy in a true business partner capacity, mentoring colleagues and sharing expertise.
Implement core HR initiatives related to culture, engagement, succession planning, talent development, HR processes, and training programs.
Analyze trends, survey data, and HR metrics to recommend improvements that enhance workplace effectiveness.
Partner with local management to diagnose business and people challenges and develop actionable solutions.
Support organization design, change management, and development initiatives aligned with business strategy.
Oversee talent management processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, leadership assessments, and internal mobility.
Identify high-potential talent and build strategic plans to support business growth.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, addressing concerns and driving problem resolution.
Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and training, ensuring informed decision-making.
Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
Lead labor relations efforts and advise managers on HR policies and employment laws.
Leverage reporting and data analysis to inform recommendations, mitigate risk, and support business decisions.
Participate in designing and implementing training and development programs, optimizing investments in learning initiatives.
Oversee annual performance evaluations, salary reviews, and bonus administration.
Promote adherence to HR policies, values, behaviors, and DEI initiatives.
Ensure alignment of HR practices across countries in South Asia, staying current on legislation, trends, and HR best practices.
Oversee smooth payroll processing with external providers and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.

8–10 years of HRBP experience supporting multiple locations and remote teams.
Proven expertise in talent management, workforce planning, change management, organizational development, and other strategic HR initiatives.
Experience in large corporate environments and matrix organizations.
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business impact in fast-paced, complex environments.
Skilled in organizational design and development to create lasting change.
Deep understanding of employment laws and the legal implications of HR practices.
