✨ About The Role
- Responsible for standardizing data sync and persistence infrastructure at Glide
- Drive integrations with data source platforms to provide customers with new data sources
- Ensure build, test, and runtime infrastructure for service teams
- Establish patterns for database throttling, request rate limiting, and uptime protection
- Lead SRE tooling, observability, alerting, code development, and technical mentorship
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced platform engineer or SRE with a background in managing large-scale data sources and infrastructure in cloud environments
- Proficient in provisioning and managing data sources like PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and NATs
- Skilled in evolving legacy services and using progressive rollout techniques
- Strong in observability, testing, and making risk-adjusted architectural decisions
- Effective communicator, self-motivated, and passionate about scaling platform services
