Senior IDN Manager, Institutional Sales

The Senior IDN Manager, Institutional Sales is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals for Glenmark's sterile injectable portfolio within assigned institutional accounts. This role will successfully develop and maintain long term business relationships with key pharmacy decision makers to achieve incremental sales growth of Glenmark's portfolio of products by leveraging GPO contracts, creating access to Glenmark contracts, and negotiating Individual Agreements within assigned accounts.

This person will be responsible for a specific region and therefore the company will prefer candidates in the Western US or Southeast US.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed budgeted sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key pharmacy decision makers within assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies to gain or increase market share by leveraging GPO contracts, Glenmark contracts, and Individual Agreements within assigned accounts.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the sterile injectable market and competitive landscape to assist in product development, pricing adjustments, and contracting decisions.
  • Represent Glenmark at industry tradeshows to drive awareness to the Glenmark brand.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence to internal teams as requested.
  • Any additional tasks assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

Education

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Must have at least 5-7 years Institutional Sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the institutional sterile injectable market and competitor landscape.
  • Possess existing relationships with decision makers within assigned IDN's and health systems.
  • Understanding of the GPO landscape, wholesaler/distributor channels, and IDN contracting processes.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and other PC-related applications.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and possess strong customer orientation.
  • Must take initiative and have ability to work independently and as a team member, helping wherever needed.

Physical Demands and Abilities

  • The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
  • Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
  • The incumbent is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range - $130,000 – 170,000 The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits. An individual's final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.
