Manufacturing Engineer

As part of our dynamic manufacturing team, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing methods, tooling, and techniques to reduce setup time, changeovers, and equipment operation effort

Implementing cycle time reduction strategies in bottleneck manufacturing cells

Troubleshooting machining processes and PLC programs (Siemens & Allen Bradley)

Modifying manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, cost efficiency, or accommodate design changes

Supporting financial goals through budgeting, expenditure scheduling, and project budget management

Managing capital projects: equipment specs, runoffs, installation, and contractor coordination

Updating and maintaining equipment and production layout drawings

Developing engineering solutions for recurring equipment/process failures

Identifying and delivering departmental training to boost skill levels

Reviewing and coordinating TPM, PM, proactive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime

Owning PFMEA, control plans, and process flows in collaboration with the Quality Engineer

Supporting shop floor teams with problem-solving and standard work instruction development

Managing external contractors for process and equipment improvements

Collaborating across all levels to enhance machinery and manufacturing processes

Leading Kaizen activities and documenting outcomes

Understanding key environmental aspects and related operational controls

What You'll Need

Essential:

B.S. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

2+ years of experience in high-volume machining, assembly, and automation

Hands-on experience with Lean Enterprise methodologies

Must be fluent in English

Must be able to work and travel independently

Desirable:

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MfgPro, Kronos
