Knowledge:

  • Must have sales support administrative experience.
  • Must be able to develop basic solutions to a variety of problems.
  • Must be able to learn quickly and spend the majority of time working independently with limited guidance from immediate manager using well-defined procedures and processes.
  • Good verbal, written, and office administrative skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.

Specific Education And Experience Requirements:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma and minimum of 5 years of relevant office administrative experience.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides office service support to the field force, on areas such as travel arrangements, company car problems, customer grants, and business office materials.
  • Prepares routine sales, cost, expenditure, forecast, and monthly reports as needed.
  • Uses Excel spreadsheets and sorts and formats information.
  • Provides administrative support for organisation of local country or regional sales force meetings, training events and conferences and arranges customer travel and accommodation
  • Coordinates extra-departmental and sales management meetings.
  • Uses Word program at a proficient level.
  • Tracks departmental budget and investigates basic variances.
  • Conducts internet searches and compiles information in logical format on behalf of management.
  • Produces presentations, reports, documents and coordinates sales team expenses.
  • Works with IT to maintain Company CRM database.
  • Produces standard management reports and analysis.
  • Coordinates check requisitions with finance and categorizes, logs and sends out to customer/specialist.
  • Takes responsibility for sales team communications and maintenance of promotional items, and mailings.
  • Independently resolves inquiries from internal and external sources.
  • Prepares territory maps showing the field sales structures.
  • Coordinates teleconference and meeting room requirements.
  • Covers for other support team members during peak periods and absences.
