Main responsibilities:

• Communicate with product manager to confirm MRS and prepare PRS accordingly.
• Create effective solution (mechanical system) as per PRS with balance consideration between quality and cost.
• Be responsible for the risk management tasks (e.g. risk analysis, DFMEA), and improve design with the measures considered.
• Prepare/review verification protocols with test lab and verify the design systematically.
• Follow PDP procedure to build prototypes and finish the related technical files.
• Pre-study and generate concepts for potential projects.

Required knowledge/skills/experience:

• More than 5 years design experience in R&D department of mechanical industry, medical industry is preferred.
• Have successful products design experience in chief design role, with knowing most manufacturing processes, such as machining, molding, surface treatment, heat treatment, etc.
• Be good at top-down design methodology with main 3D design software (prefer to CATIA).
• Have practical experience of risk management for design, including risk analysis and DFMEA.
• Have good basis of English in writing, prefer to have good oral English.
