DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and collaborative workflows. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with the ability to work effectively across teams.

You'll work closely with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software. If you're excited about creating efficient systems, championing collaboration, and contributing to a growing team, we'd love to hear from you.

  • CI/CD: GitLab CI
  • Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure (primary)
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Helm, Ansible, JSON, YAML
  • Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure
  • Languages & Scripting: Python, Go, Bash
  • Version Control: Gitlab, Github
  • Security & Compliance: SBOM, dependency tracking, vulnerability scanning

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust, reusable CI/CD pipelines to support agile software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team culture by promoting practices like pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Ensure system reliability and performance by setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting. Respond to incidents and resolve issues proactively.
  • Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning and dependency tracking.
  • Team Enablement: Support developers and QA teams by streamlining workflows and improving development tools.

You'll bring:

  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with containers and Linux environment
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving system bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to agile software development practices.
  • Knowledge of any of these programming languages – Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++
  • Familiarity with the Yocto build system
