Job Purpose And Impact

The Senior Professional, Software Engineering job designs, develops and maintains software applications and systems in smart manufacturing domain e.g Daily KPI management systems, KPI insights applications, data automation and labeling using LLM. With minimal supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to define, design and implement new software features to meet user needs and business goals, and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging complex issues. This job also participates in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with software engineering team members.

Qualifications

Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with the following technologies: React, Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Python, CI/CD pipelines, AWS Cloud Services Preferred: Experience integrating data from manufacturing systems such as: MES, LIMS, OSI PI/Historian Understanding of key manufacturing KPIs, including: Downtime %, OEE %, Production Yield Familiarity with Power Platform technologies: Power BI, Power Apps Exposure to AI technologies, including OpenAI LLMs

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is $110,000- $160,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
