Social Services Tech Worker, FT

Minimum Entry Salary: $13.00/hour

Location: Americus, GA

Services Area/Programs: Sumter DD Center

Description of Duties:

Shift Needs: 7:30am - 3:30pm

- Work with a group of individuals at the Day Center and out in the community on ISP plan along with other tasks.

- Assist with needs as outlined in the ISP.

- Complete route/transportation daily.

- Complete contracts in the community as assigned.

- Promote a safe learning environment.

- Document and track progress made throughout the day.

- Complete training as it is assigned.

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and one year experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting or associate degree in a related field or one year experience at the lower level or position equivalent (SSS010). Valid Georgia driver's license is also required.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. 1 year experience in a social services setting

Agency is an eligible worksite for the VA Education Benefit Program (Veterans). Agency is an eligible work site for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
