Operator 1, Packaging Operations

Our client, a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking an Operator 1, Packaging Operations to join their team. As an Operator 1, you will be part of the Packaging Operations supporting quality assurance and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and good documentation practices which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Covington, GA

Pay Range: $15 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift (M-F 11:00 am - 7:30 pm)

What's the Job?

• Responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging as required to satisfy all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand.
• Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and quality specifications.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities related to product packaging.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 6 months of industry work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and RF scanner experience.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required.
