Elavon (subsidiary of U.S. Bank Merchant Payment Services) is looking for an Omni-Commerce Product Owner to help shape the future of Elavon's Payments Gateway Experience. You will be working on Elavon's New, Global, Modern Payments Gateway Solution, collaborating with Global Engineering & Cross Functional teams in delivering the next generation of payment solutions to our customers.
- Maintain healthy & clean product backlogs with responsibility for ensuring clarity & definition by conducting sophisticated & detailed research of features & functionality, design sessions and collaboration with other SMEs as required. - Work with Principal Product Manager, and other SMEs - Architects, UX Designers, Engineering leads etc. to prioritize feature development, based on the business value & roadmap priorities. - Elicit and create initial epics/features and extending into user story scenarios that clearly describe the functional and all/any non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria etc. - Deliver business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups/demos, etc. - Collaborate with multi-functional teams inside an Agile Scrum framework. - Perform testing, track bugs, enhancements and ensure issues are resolved before promoting production environments. - Be the fulcrum of the team - drive clarity when required, remove blockers when they occur, maintain delivery momentum etc. - Be delivery date orientation and support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches.
- At least 7 or more years of related work experience. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience working as a Product Owner. - Solid understanding of concept and principles of agile methodology; strong knowledge of Agile/SDLC development methodologies. - Solid understanding of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production. - High familiarity with the mainstream tools related to modern software product delivery - Jira, Dragonboat, Confluence, Figma etc. - Solid understanding of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. - E-Commerce Payments and/or Point-of-Sale Software industry experience along with a familiar of current trends, emerging technologies and key players in this Industry.
