Aviation Management Internship

A Delta Professional Services (DPS) Aviation Management intern will help achieve divisional goals and contribute to DPS' overall success. Interns will be working with a specific team such as, but not limited to, Business Systems or Business Administration & Employee Services. Interns will have the opportunity to work with and gain experience in other departments, such as, but not limited to, Account Services, Comms & Engagement, ATP CTP, Sourcing & Pipeline, and Flight Operations.

This is a paid internship, including additional privileges such as standby travel anywhere in the Delta system while off duty. This is not a remote opportunity; interns will work on-site at Delta's World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

To succeed, you must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA office. You must have a competitive GPA and be in good academic standing with your university. You should show competency in skills that include collection and analysis of data, reading and summarizing new regulations, and the ability to problem solve quickly. You must have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. You must be internally motivated, curious, ready to learn, and eager to make an impact. You should be able to work under tight deadlines and time constraints while being able to manage and prioritize multiple project requests conjointly. You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to process complicated issues quickly, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. You must demonstrate that privacy is a priority when handling personal data. You must consistently prioritize the safety and security of self, others, and personal data. You must embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles.

You must possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. You must be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. You must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Information Technology Management), Aviation Management, or Industrial Engineering (or similar degree with applicable skills). You must commit to the internship timeline: May 11th, 2026, through July 31, 2026. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as an intern at the same time, which may delay your graduation. Working as an intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
