Mansfield Service Partners is searching for an Offsite Equipment Technician for our Aurora, Colorado location. This position is responsible for transporting and delivering skid tanks and performing technical services. Essential duties include receiving direction and assignments from the OSE Operations Manager, operating a tractor and sliding axle trailer, operating a 20,000 LB winch, and tying down equipment on a flatbed trailer. Additionally, the technician will deliver skid tanks ranging in sizes from 500 gallons to 20,000 gallons and pick up tanks that have hazardous residue in them. During downtime, the technician will run service calls or rig outs and stage tanks, which includes installing monitors, pumps, hoses, and nozzles. Other duties include providing and maintaining fuel and lubricant related equipment through installations, service calls, repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections. The technician will utilize computerized fuel management systems to manage fuel disbursements, sample services for fuel and lubes, perform field inspections and maintenance of both MSP and customer owned tanks and related equipment, deliver and pick up fuel and lube tanks, rig out tanks to customer specification, identify and report customer service, equipment, and SH&E issues to the supervisor, establish and follow procedures and protocols, maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance requirements, remove old and damaged decals off tanks, clean tanks inside and outside and clean containment pan within the contained area, paint cleaned out tanks and containment pans, manage work area free of trash and garbage, manage tank staging area organized by tank size, clean up service spills, inspect gasoline and diesel dispensers for any visible leaks on hoses and nozzles, inspect all storage tank lids to confirm they are locked and tight, inspect fuel island area three times daily, and submit daily inventory reports. The technician will recognize sales opportunities and communicate to the supervisor or other company personnel, as directed. The position requires willingness and ability to travel up to 10%. Physical and environmental conditions include frequent encounters with dirt and dust, noise and vibration, fumes and odors, wetness/humidity, and exposure to mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards. The employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. This position may require travel via vehicle and airplane. The employee may be required to sit for long periods of time and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
