Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to join their team onsite in Athens, GA. This role will provide hands-on end-user support, focusing on hardware, software, and network troubleshooting to ensure smooth store operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices
• Perform hardware repairs, part replacements, and software installations
• Support network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless troubleshooting
• Provide technical assistance for point-of-sale (POS) systems and related equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and update ticketing systems
• Coordinate with remote support teams and vendors as needed to resolve issues

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a retail or field service environment
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
• Familiarity with POS hardware and software troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed

Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $15.00 - $21.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
