Epic Engineer (Software Engineer)

IDR is seeking an Epic Engineer to support a nationally recognized healthcare institution based in Minnesota. This is a fully remote, contract opportunity for an Epic-certified professional with a strong track record in healthcare IT, project leadership, and Epic application management.

Position Overview / Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support and backfill responsibilities for the Epic Ambulatory Orders team.
• Lead and manage multiple, large-scale IT projects independently, ensuring successful delivery from planning through execution.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in using Epic's electronic health record (EHR) software and has passed a certification exam administered by Epic Systems.
• Certification in Ambulatory or Inpatient - EpicCare Ambulatory / EpicCare Inpatient background with build experience.
• Backend experience with Cache, Chronicles, and iFrame integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a large academic medical institution.
