Provide administrative support to Engineering manager
Maintain the manager's calendar and those of others within the workgroup as needed
Organize and schedule meetings, conference calls, and related logistics (i.e. equipment for presentations, agenda, handouts, reservations, refreshments, etc.)
Make travel arrangements (i.e. airline tickets, lodging, transportation, etc).
Prepare Oracle expense statements and obtain required approvals utilizing Oracle timekeeping application
Prepare presentations for management and/or department personnel
Assist with budget administration
Assist with department Co-ops and Interns including onboarding and maintaining contracts
Order and maintain all departmental supplies
Answer phone calls and emails and assist customers to meet their needs
Partner with the Plant Vogtle 1&2 administrative team and provide backup support as needed to management team
Sort and deliver applicable mail and packages
Assist with other clerical duties as assigned
Assist with refueling outage preparation activities including in processing of supplemental resources
Be the back-up department training coordinator
Become qualified and proficient with Quality Assurance records
The successful candidate must be proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Use of Maximo, and Documentum software may be required.
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate degree or higher preferred
Minimum of three (3) years administrative support experience required; Five (5) years of senior leader level support preferred
One (1) year commercial nuclear power experience is preferred
Must pass the SHL Administrative Assessment / Skillcheck test if not currently test qualified
Ability to interact professionally with customers, management, peer administrative assistants, and business unit personnel across the fleet
Must be skilled in delivering work products with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
Ability to determine priorities and meet the deadlines required with minimal supervision
Demonstrate proficiency in both verbal and written communications
Microsoft Office proficiency is required
Must be well organized and self-motivated
Must be capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills
Capable of creating and maintaining tracking databases
Must be a change agent
Must be inclined toward improving processes and performance
Must demonstrate interest in the business' challenges

Candidate must qualify on both the SHL Clerical Test, and if invited, a Microsoft Office Skills Test
