Senior Electrical Engineer

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, GA is seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate hardware systems to support ongoing laboratory development on several projects, including tasks for all test venues in the ADP, C-5, C-130J, F-35 and F-22 systems and simulation platforms. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of electrical and electronics principles to implement design criteria and techniques.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Hardware design experience and able to demonstrate an ability to analyze complex technical problems, present findings/recommendations and implement solutions.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with Audio and Video Systems (High End Projector Systems)
  • Experience and knowledge in Aircraft Systems
  • Experience in Radio Communication and RF systems
  • Experience working with Mil-Std 1553 and ARINC-429 bus networks
  • Experience and knowledge in Computer Aided Drawing (i.e. CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Experience working with various Simulation I/O devices
  • Experience working with Simulation Control Loader Systems
  • Highly motivated, energetic, self-starter and possess exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly cohesive team environment.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
