Data Center Technical Program Manager, Process Engineering

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead key programs, and communicate program health, status, and actions to stakeholders. Collaborate across organizational levels and boundaries.
  • Drive efforts to improve efficiency, cycle times, reliability, predictability and on-time delivery. Work with cross-functional partners to design automation needs for scale and efficiency.
  • Define specifications, which include establishing detailed technical requirements for server hardware and specifying the performance metrics, scalability goals, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Hardware Engineering teams to align on the product roadmap and features, especially around deployability and serviceability of the hardware systems (including advocating for new technologies).
  • Drive compatibility across hardware platforms and data center types to align features, capabilities, and requirements of enabling tools for the data center technicians. Be a thought partner to the leaders of the Server Operations organization and ensure the reliability and scalability of server operations.
