Administrative & Operations Support

The Technical College System of Georgia's (TCSG) Office of Workforce Development leads the State of Georgia's workforce development system, WorkSource Georgia, and administers federal workforce development programs aimed at connecting talent to opportunity. The Employer Services Manager leads the team responsible for delivering high-touch, high-quality services to Georgia employers engaging with the WorkSource Georgia system. This role ensures businesses receive expert assistance in navigating the WorkSource Georgia Portal, optimizing job postings, and accessing tailored workforce solutions. The Manager oversees virtual and in-person support functions, ensuring employers experience seamless, outcome-driven services that promote repeat engagement and system trust. The position is only open to TCSG employees and affiliated colleges who meet the minimum qualifications below.

Responsibilities: • Manage and coach a statewide Employer Services Team focused on delivering virtual and in-person support to employers. • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service, job posting quality, and employer satisfaction. • Coordinate with OWD leadership to align service delivery with broader business engagement goals. • Oversee real-time support for employers navigating the WorkSource Georgia Portal. • Ensure consistent assistance with account setup, job posting optimization, and system troubleshooting. • Establish an employer component of the WorkSource Georgia Call Center and monitor and improve employer interactions through the Call Center. • Oversee the review of job orders and postings for clarity, compliance, and impact. • Establish and maintain quality control standards across all employer-facing activities. • Use analytics and feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts. • Collaborate with internal teams to cross-promote WorkSource Georgia programs (e.g., hiring events, WOTC, training grants). • Train team members to "suggestively sell" system services based on employer needs. • Develop outreach materials and employer engagement campaigns in coordination with communications staff. • Coordinate delivery of on-the-ground services in partnership with the Business Services team and Regional Coordinators. • Provide direct support to employers during recruitment activities, technical assistance visits, and issue resolution. • Liaise with local workforce areas, technical colleges, economic developers, and state partners to support unified business service delivery. • Support alignment and integration of employer services across all WorkSource Georgia programs. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five (5) years of related work experience or an Associate's degree in a related field and at least eight (8) years of related work experience. Related work experience must include experience supervising and managing service delivery staff.

Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in a related field. • Familiarity with the WorkSource Georgia Portal or other labor exchange systems. • Proficiency with virtual support tools, such as Webex Call Center, CRM, etc. • Knowledge of the federal workforce development programs, such as Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). • Experience in state or local economic development and/or workforce development. • Experience delivering presentations in groups. • Knowledge of state and federal regulations. • Experience in sales, targeted outreach, or other similar areas. • Experience working with workforce development partners.
