The Department of Community Health is currently seeking a qualified Primary Care Office Supervisor for the Primary Care Office and Farmworker Health program section within the State Office of Rural Health (SORH). Under minimal supervision, the Primary Care Office Supervisor supervises staff in the Primary Care Office and Farmworker Health program sections to ensure services provided by staff meet performance and quality expectations. The supervisor will oversee the performance of complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting. In addition, the supervisor will be expected to identify trends, discrepancies and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and may partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies and vendors to address business issues. The supervisor will provide high level support for various projects, grants, contracts, implementation of procedures, and/or any specialized functions, assisting with orientation guidance for new employees. The position is based in Cordele, GA (Crisp County), a rural community approximately 60 miles south of Macon on I-75. The SORH is dedicated to improving access to health care in rural and underserved areas and reducing health status disparities.
