Software Development Engineer (test Automation)

Requirements

Strong C/C++ experience (minimum 5 years) for cross-platform development, particularly RedHat Linux.

Proven experience using repositories for multi-person, multi-software version pipelines of delivery.

Proficient in AGILE Software Development techniques including TDD and/or BDD, and Atlassian toolsets.

Skilled in building and using automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills.

Ability to communicate complex information clearly to relevant audiences.

Strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal communication.

Strong attention to detail.

Able to react to and keep up with quickly changing technical events and requirements.

Ability to quickly understand the wider impacts of changes and technical issues.

Nice to Have

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

High Transactional, Low Latency development experience.

Development of scripting languages including Python, JS, and Node.

Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure Cloud Formation.

Knowledge of building automation.
