Senior C/C++ Software Engineer

Software Developer Position

Engage with the product owner, team lead, architects, and global team members to deliver world-class solutions addressing customer needs. Demonstrate a consistent focus on quality and security, delivering reliable and robust solutions. Manage your own workload effectively while promoting an inclusive and open culture. Take initiative to develop knowledge in technology products and tools through on-the-job learning, certifications, and projects. Actively participate in Scrum meetings, providing timely updates to the team lead and/or Scrum Master. Through agile retrospectives and reviews, analyze and adapt processes to find innovative ways to enable your team to deliver effectively on time and to defined quality standards. Work well under pressure, showing adaptability in tackling problems and resolving issues with minimal supervision. Communicate clearly and confidently with a strong focus on interpersonal collaboration. Ensure the Knowledge Base remains up to date with the team's technical information and resolutions.

Requirements:

• Strong C/C++ experience (minimum 5 years) for cross-platform development, particularly RedHat Linux.
• Proven experience using repositories for multi-person, multi-software version pipelines of delivery.
• Proficient in AGILE Software Development techniques including TDD and/or BDD, and Atlassian toolsets.
• Skilled in building and using automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to relevant audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to react to and keep up with quickly changing technical events and requirements.
• Ability to quickly understand the wider impacts of changes and technical issues.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• High Transactional, Low Latency development experience.
• Development of scripting languages including Python, JS, and Node.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure Cloud Formation.
• Knowledge of building automation.
