API & Performance Test Engineer – Fintech

Job Title

Conduct functional, integration, and security testing of microservices and REST APIs within Fintech platforms.

Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, and scenarios.

Perform load, stress, and performance testing using standard industry tools.

Verify inter-service communication, data exchange, and end-to-end financial transaction workflows.

Document, track, and resolve defects while ensuring adherence to compliance and quality standards.

Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.

Drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies with emphasis on compliance, reliability, and customer confidence.

Requirements:

2–5 years of hands-on experience in microservices and API testing, ideally in the Fintech or BFSI sector.

Strong expertise in REST APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices design principles.

Practical knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.

Experience with containerized/cloud-native platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and DevOps practices.

Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and financial data transaction flows.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a strong focus on security and compliance.
