Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative represents Motion Industries professionally to our customers with the knowledge and skills to provide them with the product or service they need.
Role Functions:
- Make proactive outbound calls to the existing account base assigned in multiple branches to generate and develop sales opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with decision-makers to expand business volume, identifying, quoting, and closing sales of products not currently being purchased.
- Collaborate with Motion customer service representatives on order entry, follow-up, and other technical needs.
- Associate and work effectively with branch and division teams to ensure the correct execution of customer needs.
- Diligently update the CRM to stay on top of account follow-ups and active quote opportunities.
- Present e-commerce capabilities to all assigned accounts and train customers on the use of these tools as needed, thus facilitating the business relationship.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Education and Experience:
- College degree.
- Bilingual: Spanish/English. Intermediate/advanced English level (ability to communicate fluently in technical conversations).
- Two (2) or more years of sales experience or equivalent combination.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong sales experience, making proactive outbound calls with the ability to understand customer pain points, product requirements, and identify potential additional sales opportunities.
- Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, focused, and proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English.
- Proven success in business development through the effective use of essential sales tools such as CRM, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel).
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently while achieving sales growth objectives for assigned accounts.
- Proactive with a strong sense of urgency to meet sales targets.
- Possesses drive, tenacity, and a team-oriented "play to win" attitude.
- Positive attitude and proven ability to handle rejection.
- Ability to establish a good relationship, influence others, and maintain strong working relationships.
