Partner Marketing Manager - Tokyo

As a Partner Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the partner marketing strategy across the Japan region that will increase partner engagement and enablement, demand generation through partners, and expansion of Genesys' partner ecosystem and execute partner marketing activities based on plan. In collaboration with internal stakeholders (Partner sales and alliance team, demand gen marketing, solution consulting team etc.), you will support partners broadly and effectively and lead their CX business to success.

What this role is:

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and execute partner marketing strategies to grow Genesys' partner ecosystem and business by accelerating GTM with GSI and key partners in Japan
  • Planning and implementation of joint marketing activities to accelerate sales activities of partner companies, and follow-up after completion of activities
  • Manage the partner community to expand and revitalize the Genesys ecosystem
  • Develop MDF and other partner programs in Japan in collaboration with the global partner marketing team
  • Support content creation and digital marketing activities in collaboration with partners
  • Management of sponsorship operations for key Genesys events
  • Planning and execution of partner enablement activities
  • Setting KPI, reporting and optimization of partner marketing activities
  • Budget Management
  • Collaborate with and support overall Japan marketing activities/events, when needed

What you'll need to excel in this role:

  • 5+ years of B2B partner marketing and field marketing experience designing, creating, and delivering strategic partner marketing initiatives in the technology space
  • Basic knowledge of partner structure in the Japanese IT industry
  • Leadership skills and experience in working with diverse stakeholders and leading cross-functional projectsAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently
  • Ability to swiftly learn product solutions and general industry knowledge
  • Resourceful and adaptable to a changing environment.

Also required are abilities to:

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and experience with marketing tools – Salesforce, Zoom, ON24, Taxi etc.
  • Strong presentation, writing and communication skills
  • Languages: Native/Fluent in Japanese and Business level English
