General Physician, PC (GPPC) is a forward-thinking healthcare organization affiliated with Kaleida Health and the Erie County Medical Center. With 300+ providers across 11 specialties, we deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care throughout six counties in Western New York. Our teams support both acute and ambulatory settings. We are seeking a Director of Clinical Services to help lead the growth, performance, and operational excellence of several key service lines.

As the Director of Clinical Services, you will oversee the clinical, quality, and business operations for the following service lines: Pain Management, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Post-Acute, GI, and Colorectal. You will guide the strategic direction, support practice growth and transformation, mentor leaders, and ensure high-quality, efficient patient care across all locations.
• Lead the planning, development, and oversight of operating and capital budgets; ensure financial performance across practices and service lines• Partner with executive leadership on strategic plans, business development, and organizational goals; execute operational initiatives• Collaborate on feasibility assessments for practice acquisitions, integrations, or separations; oversee onboarding and offboarding of physicians, APPs, and staff• Mentor and develop Practice Managers through training, coaching, and performance support• Oversee the creation, implementation, and revision of clinical, quality, and business policies and procedures• Monitor and address issues related to patient experience, staffing, quality, access, workflows, equipment, and facilities; lead service line performance management• Serve as a representative of GPPC with community partners, affiliated entities, regulatory agencies, payers, and other key stakeholders• Enhance operational efficiency, service quality, cost containment, and patient satisfaction• Model and promote exemplary customer service and patient-centered care• Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or MHA strongly preferred• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare (ambulatory preferred), ideally within Pain, Neuro, Ortho, Post-Acute, GI, or Colorectal settings• Demonstrated success in budget management, strategic planning, and operational optimization• Strong communication, relationship-building, and physician engagement skills• Proven ability to influence without authority across multidisciplinary teams• Expertise in healthcare leadership, quality improvement, staff development, and service line operations
