Controls Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title

Responsible for the execution/develop of manufacturing controls. Work will be performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff) • Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement • Maintaining awareness of new controls technologies (PLC, HMI, networks, robot, vision) of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts • Managing deliveries to program timing milestones • Providing project report outs to senior management • Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.) • Providing technical direction to less experienced controls engineers. • Designing and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems • Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology

Required Skills

Education: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related Engineering English: Advanced Intermediate (Conversational) Experience: 3 years in controls, robotics projects, and programming Software: Management of Siemens software, Allen Bradley, FANUC 3D, Vision Cognex, Matrox, Keyence 3D, TIA Portal.
