You are responsible for the creation and documentation of modeling plans to the engineering team and initiation of new processes and tools. Responsible to create and execute Finite Element Analysis (FEA) plans for assigned projects. Participate in the creation of assigned subsystem Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models. Motivate CAE suppliers and internal resources to meet program milestones and deliverables. Perform and oversee resources for virtual assessment of designs and compare results to performance requirements. Initiate design solutions to resolve any performance issues with mass & cost efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- College degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related experience
- Around 3 or 4 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, oral and written
- Quick learner, able to adapt and acquire new knowledge rapidly
- Strong autonomy in managing tasks and responsibilities
- Analytical mindset, capable of identifying and solving performance challenges through innovative approaches
- CFD Engineering expertise: Proficient in CAE/CFD tools such as StarCCM+, OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent, PreonLab, PowerFLOW, FloEFD, among others
- Or CAE Engineering expertise: Skilled in tools including HyperMesh, HyperView, HyperGraph, OptiStruct, SimSolid, SimLab, LS-DYNA, Abaqus, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Knowledge in CAE evaluations, both dynamic and static and/or knowledge in CFD evaluations, including static and transient simulations
- Programming knowledge in Python and Java (desirable)
Hybrid position 3 days at office 2 days working from home

• Creates professional and long-lasting professional relationship with peers
Work in coordination with other areas of engineering such as: Design engineering, Release, Development, Studio, Validation and Manufacturing, to develop integral solutions using math virtual simulation
