Work Arrangement: Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Elevation Centre three times per week.

The Role

Built on a solid GM foundation, with deeply rooted expertise, and powered by GM's electric, and software platforms, along with consultative support and complete fleet services, GM Envolve helps enable leaders to stay ahead of change. It combines powerful brands such as OnStar®, Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, and Buick, providing comprehensive support to propel businesses into the future.

As a co-op student on the GM Envolve Team, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the execution and coordination of marketing and sales operations initiatives in the fleet and commercial business. This role is ideal for a student who is a strong communicator, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Total Cost of Ownership tools including competitive pricing data
  • Help maintain and update data dashboards and reports using tools like Excel or Power BI
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as manual claims and RFQ proposals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for sales operations initiatives
  • Help organize and support customer facing events and internal team meetings
  • Help update government customer order status reports
  • Draft and distribute dealer-facing communications
  • Help create social media posts and email campaigns catered to fleet customers
  • Help maintain the GM Envolve website

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious and eager to learn new tools and processes
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, preferably Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Available for a minimum 8-12 months term
