WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Technical Training Required
Experience: 3+ years of related experience, assessing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on Layer 1 Network Switching Systems to include: APCON, PURVIS, NETSCOUT, DTS, XCOM, and NGSC switches.
Required Technical Skills: The best candidate will be conducting Network Switching hardware and software installations. Assisting with testing and operation of new switches to support new equipment and systems for government, military and/or scientific uses.
Security Clearance Level: Secret Clearance Required
Skills and Abilities: Perform switch testing, break and relink switch paths to support customer set ups, investigate and correct Network switching issues, install/remove new and old equipment and cables to include: low level serial, parallel, and fiber optic.
Location: On Customer Site, Wallops Island, VA US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $56,680 - $71,875. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
