CLE Engineer

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Integrates new capabilities into the CLE and identifies required resources and configurations for CLE activities.

Provides engineering and technology support required to promote and execute the adoption of data and AI technology, methodologies, and best practices.

Supports command data and AI initiatives.

Creates data architectures, integrates large datasets, and ensures data quality.

Creates, develops, and tests ML models.

Contributes to monthly trends reports to document emerging developments, technologies, and capabilities in AI/ML, and provide recommendations for use within the command.

Provides engineering support for command lab interactions and integration of Data Operations, MLOps, and Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) in AI/ML.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 8+ years of experience
• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; Security + or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $127,254 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
