Meaningful work and personal impact as a Network Engineer Principal, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Integrated Operations Support Center (IOSC). You will play a crucial role in supporting the customer in designing, planning, and building communications networks. Configuring routers and switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols. Lead/manage/support customer projects and help train the network support team. Collaborate with installation and cyber security teams to provide outstanding support to the government customer. Drive key outcomes and help the team to resolve challenges.
What you'll need to succeed bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Engineer Principal must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or Experience: 8+ years of related experience Technical skills: Be proficient in network routing and switching, CISCO CCIE certification desired. Security clearance level: Secret US citizenship required Role requirements: Some OCONUS travel may be required.
The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
