As a Network Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customers. You will play a crucial role in these work areas:

• Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity
• Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including load balancers, routers, switches, firewalls, and networks
• Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
• Coordinates hardware and software acquisition
• Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
• Supports the design and build of hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
• Create and maintain documentation of networking processes

Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Engineer must have:

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience
• Required Skills: Experience with network and firewall solutions, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, F5, and/or Palo Alto; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; good communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team

Primary work location will be remote, but candidate must be located in the Philadelphia, PA area to provide on-site support as needed

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Travel required: 10-25%
