Who You'll be Joining: Our Embedded QA team is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to work within the Device Platform group. You'll work closely with the Product Stakeholders, Firmware Developers, Hardware Engineers, and other QA Engineers in a cross-functional agile environment. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to and get your hands on a variety of tools, frameworks, and technologies. You will advocate for quality, coach peers on testing techniques and methodologies, organize and coordinate testing, automate tests, as well as design and maintain test automation infrastructure. Your testing starts early in the cycle and your ideas and opinion matters from planning to deployment. Whether you are enhancing our automation infrastructure, developing new test fixtures, or writing and executing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for our latest features, there are always exciting things to work on!
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work required on Wednesdays and Thursdays from our Toronto office to support collaboration, and flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

The final round will be 90 minutes with the Hiring Manager and a member of the leadership team to assess background, experience, technical depth and overall fit for the role.
Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role based in Toronto, ON is $100,900 - $131,100 CAD. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
