The "X-ray Generation" department designs, defines, and develops the subsystem intended to generate the high voltage and its modulation necessary for any type of radiological examination, and then to transform the corresponding signal and energy into X-rays to produce the medical image. The X-ray generators and tubes are used in a wide range of medical imaging devices, such as scanners, mammography devices, vascular imaging, etc. These high-tech products are designed, assembled, prototyped, and tested in our engineering laboratories equipped with numerous tools, measuring devices, and test benches. The objective of this internship will be to analyze the installations and the processes, to propose axes of improvement to optimize the processes and working methods, and to deploy the selected solutions.
Diagnostic of performance: Observation of the usage. Realization of field audits, with inventory of the equipment and processes used.
Measurements and Analysis: Identification of the axes allowing to guarantee efficiency, quality, costs, deadlines, and maintenance (Sorting, storage, standardization of maintenance). Proposal of the associated progress plans.
Improvement: Provide technical support, by conducting problem-solving projects. Design and implement solutions addressing issues such as sorting, storage, and standardization of maintenance. Among others:
Control of results: Analysis of the performance (robustness and stability) with the implementation of operational excellence indicators demonstrating productivity, safety, and quality, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
