Software Developer
In this role you will be responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation and implementation.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support the development of a medical application workflow
- Document, develop and test features
- Work with architects and technical experts to design new features, evaluate alternative designs, implement prototypes and establish an execution plan
- Master Web development sync / async, thread, responsiveness and quality to performances
- Make technological choices at the individual level and have the ability to analyze their impact
- Have the ability to develop functionalities in their verticality, from the back end to the front-end
- Ability to understand issues related to loading and rendering images, and coding on WEB technologies
- Understand the MVC construction process, design patterns and identify the responsibility of each component
- Demonstrate expertise in writing tests to automate tasks
- Implement the principles of continuous integration / deployment
- Provide expertise in quality engineering, test planning and test methodology for a software project
- Use experience to influence others
- Apply methodologies such as Lean / Agile / XP, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring and testing techniques
- Be able to document
- Participate in Digital Healthcare transformation and change the world to promote digital solutions for better healthcare diagnosis
- Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse at a release level
- Work in SCRUM team and with teams across business. Add value to build and release engineering discussions
Qualifications / Essential skills:
- Engineering degree in computer science or Master in computer science with advanced experience of at least 2-3 years in the field of software development
- Master object-oriented language more specifically Javascript (ES6) / TypeScript
- Understanding of the back-end logic, handling and creating features HTML5/Javascript/LESS
- Work experience as a software development engineer (git, gitlab, Jenkins experience)
- Experience in software design and web application design
- UX knowledge recommended
- Build knowledge recommended (npm, Bazel, WebPack…)
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Technical expertise:
- Able to evaluate code, build it and run applications locally by itself
- Experience in creating applications in micro-services and micro-front ends
- Curiosity, creativity and sense of deliverables
- Promotes empowerment and adoption
- Publishes materials to promote adoption of the design
- Offers design solutions based on research and synthesis
- Passionate about innovation and medical imaging
